「為甚麼參加成長團體或者心情不好找人傾訴，每次回到過去，哭一哭，罵一罵，過了幾天，發現自己又回到原點，沒有什麼改變？」

如果回到過去，只是將痛苦釋放出來，不能算是真正的療癒。

我的書房有兩棵植物。一棵是龜背芋。象徵我的創作，就像烏龜走路，雖然很慢，卻一步一步慢慢累積，踏踏踏實。另一棵是鴨掌木，象徵我的作家生活，像鴨子划水，表面優雅，實則忙碌不已。
除了書房，我的庭院也種了肉桂樹、流蘇、茶樹、桂花樹⋯各式各樣的花花草草。每次，我要創作新的作品，我總會種一棵樹苗、孵化種子，和我的作品一起發芽、生根。這些植物就像老朋友一樣，陪伴著我，走過創作的焦慮，孤獨，和突破的喜悅。

有個朋友深陷痛苦，無法自拔，問我該怎麼辦？我直接了當跟她說：「做最壞的打算，你就自由了，也解脫了。」
朋友搖搖頭，無法理解我的觀點。她說：「眼前一看到那個人就覺得很痛苦，不知怎麼相處下去才好！」我拍拍朋友的肩膀，就是因為太痛苦了，才需要做最壞的打算啊！
如果你很在意那個人，就「盡最大的努力」去圓滿。盡力，其實只是對自己交代，不要留下遺憾。其他的，就交給老天爺去安排。
