- White people confusing xenophobia and racism
First of all, I am not diminishing their experience but the words/expression/terms are wrong.
The podcast starts in a very weird and not serious way, then they start with ridiculous examples of “casual racism” that are not!
Racism means you think of an entire group of people of a certain skin color as inferior as the main group.
They were not. They faced rare xenophobic remarks based on stereotypes. It also a very mainly podcast “you’ll feel safe in a dark alley if you meet him”. NO!
