Without doubt this is one of my favourites podcasts. The guests always have fascinating backgrounds and super useful learnings to share. Charles and Ashley manage to extract their stories in such a heartwarming human way and their overall format plus complimentary talents is brilliantly captivating, from the gentle but relentlessly curious line of questioning to the incredibly beautiful poetry.

I just found out about the ‘How I Became’ podcast and now I am completely hooked! My first watch was the episode with Charithra Chandran of Alex Rider and Bridgerton fame and WOW, it was like listening to her autobiography in an afternoon. The program format that Ashley and Charles employ and the insightful questions they ask in such an informal manner allow a guest to tell their story in their own way. Genius!
