…and here is a great companion piece.
Hey now! I’m reliving high school in the early 90s here by watching Tales from the Crypt on a Friday night. Where to start? At the beginning ! I’ve been looking forward to listening to this podcast for weeks (since Shudder announcement ~TFTC and I learned about it on Reddit). I wanted to wait for a full watchalong experience…now that season 1-3 are out, it’s time to binge!
UPDATE: Onto episode 4 and still cruising. Pretty sure Logray is the tallest Ewok.
I’ve been watching TftC since I was 8 years old, so being able to rewatch and “discuss” it with friends is such a fun time. You can tell these guys really enjoy the show and it’s fun to listen to them geek out over something you love. Even when I disagree about episodes they love or hate, their enjoyment makes it interesting to hear a different perspective. Having said all that, there is an episode in season 5 that is so clearly *the best* episode (😂) of TftC, the only 6 severed thumb episode t... more
The title sums it up the best. This podcast is just a great time. Whether you’ve seen all the Tales from the Crypt episodes or not, these guys are just fun to listen to. Bonus points for covering the comics that go along with the episodes.
After one episode I turned this terrible podcast off. It was a parade of awkward, smug & mealy-mouthed pseudo-male, Culture Vulture millennials, co opting Gen X content and claiming it as their own. Once again. I’m embarrassed for them. You will never be Gen X boys. And I mean boys, as in children. Go find your own culture. If that’s even possible. I know your generation is devoid of it, but you could always do a podcast about Pokemon or Yu-Gi-O. Get off our coattails and go back to your safe-sp... more
Absolute gem of a show. Hunter, Preston, and Dan are so fun and even though I’ve never seen Tales from the Crypt, I’m so engaged in this podcast. Just having some trouble finding the OnlyDans.com link
