治療結束後，賈小姐回歸職場，生活看似恢復正常，但每天手機上仍會收到癌友社群與LINE群組的訊息。有人分享治療近況、有人轉貼醫療新聞，也有人在討論副作用與焦慮。
但每次看到這些訊息，她的心情就會變得焦慮，她想退出群組讓生活回到原軌，做回「正常人」，卻又遲遲無法下決心，因為這群人曾陪她走過最辛苦的時期。
她覺得自己很矛盾——留下會焦慮；離開又感到愧疚，覺得自己好像沒有需要了就把其他人一把推開。
為了這樣的事情感到困擾，真的很奇怪嗎？

陳先生陪70歲的媽媽就醫，檢查結果顯示是肝癌末期，醫師希望家屬先回去討論，下次回診時再一起決定後續治療方向。
但陳先生卻陷入兩難，理智上，他知道媽媽是當事人，有權知道自己的病情；情感上，他又覺得消息太殘忍，難道一定要讓媽媽知道自己罹癌，日後惶惶不安的生活嗎？
另一方面，媽媽一向怕麻煩、怕花錢、總把家人放在自己前面，他也擔心讓媽媽知道罹癌的消息，會選擇拒絕治療，或失去支撐下去的意志力。
究竟該不該說？要說的話又該怎麼說？才不會讓彼此留下更多遺憾？
