  • Changed my life.

My husband and I have been adventuring into kink and having fun when I ran into this podcast. Love all the sex education, but the relationship education has changed my life. Having a name for the cycle my husband and I keep falling into and having trouble getting out of really opened my eyes. Now I just have to work on not over functioning while he under functions. I cried when i learned there was a name for it.

I’ve listened to every single episode, some multiple times. Let’s be real, most of them multiple times (~ahem~the Susan Bratton salad dressing episode and not for the salad dressing recipe). I’ve taken away so much and look forward every week to the new drop!!! If you’re not staying around til the very end you’re missing out because they make me cry laughing sometimes. Why haven’t I left them a raving review before now? Idk but here it is!!!! Love you Honeydew me 🫶🏼🫶🏼

  • every woman needs this!

i’ve been listening to this podcast since early 2022 and these women have changed my life. I have taken something away from literally every single episode even if it doesn’t apply to my sex life because I walk away learning something new or having a new mindset. I do miss how silly the hosts used to be compared to now but as they build their brand of course they’ll make changes

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

267. "I Joined a Sex Cult": Star Stone on Onetaste, Toxic Empowerment & Cult Culture
Q: What were the warning signs you wish you'd recognized earlier?
Warning signs included the demand to own practices beyond a stated competency, the lure of land and exclusive circles, aggressive marketing language, and the expectation that one must invest more money to gain access to 'the next door' or circle.
267. "I Joined a Sex Cult": Star Stone on Onetaste, Toxic Empowerment & Cult Culture
Q: How did the initial intro sessions lead to deeper involvement in Onetaste?
Initial introductions with communication games and the promise of deeper learning created a sense of progression, but the practices quickly revealed loaned, coercive dynamics and a shift from education to control, prompting her to reconsider participation.
267. "I Joined a Sex Cult": Star Stone on Onetaste, Toxic Empowerment & Cult Culture
Q: Do you think you're someone that would be susceptible to being pulled into a cult?
Star acknowledges susceptibility due to a human desire for community and belonging, especially when education around sex was lacking, but notes that discerning who to trust is crucial and that she aimed to be selective about joining groups. (Timestamp: 88300)
259. Q+A: "Why Does Everyone Else Have a Better Sex Life Than Me?"
Q: Question is, all of my friends talk about how amazing their sex lives are. And meanwhile, my partner and I are struggling. Is it normal to have this many issues or is it a red flag?
The hosts acknowledge that many people face imperfect sex lives and emphasize that issues do not automatically mean a doomed relationship. They encourage open communication, sexual education, and seeking support (e.g., therapy) as constructive steps, while normalizing that struggle can be a sign to learn and grow rather than a sign of failure.
260. What No One Tells You About Labor and Delivery (From an OB-GYN)
Q: What should people do to advocate for their birth preferences in hospital settings?
People can say no to anything, discuss birth preferences in advance, and have ongoing conversations with providers to ensure autonomy is respected, with documentation when necessary to protect both patient and clinicians.
