Excellent Storytelling
Too often wars, for me anyway, are dehumanized, antiseptic, fact-by-fact representations of a very human event.
You have given the story a life of its own. Eager to hear the rest of the story.
Well done!
Congratulations on two years! 🎉
This podcast is a great listen! It presents really interesting and complicated historical events in a very easy-to-listen-to way that is refreshing and enjoyable! I would recommend this podcast to ANYONE, especially if they are someone who enjoys hearing a good story and someone who enjoys learning about history without having to do all of the research. 10 Stars!
Let me start by saying I am not history buff. I would; however, say that enjoy learning new things. This podcast is amazing in that it blends the historical narrative with common references that allow a guy like me to stay engaged and intrigued. Prior to this, I had never heard of the Poison King. Now, I want to know more.
If you are a history nerd like me you will love this podcast! Josh tells stories we haven’t heard before and ties in pop culture and some great humor as well.
Josh has done a spectacular job with this podcast. He is entertaining and educational. Josh has integrated pop culture references, humor, historical theory, and historical fact together very well. The pop culture references are also appreciate because it has made me think about how ancient events are still or could be influencing our day to day life. I’m history buff myself and I’m enjoying learning about things that I had no previous knowledge of.
