I love the narrator and his work shows. His excitement about history is the only one which matches my own. As a firm Habsburg imperialist I am dreading the eight decades to come. But I’ve never understood better the challenges that were faced by the global Iberian empires in that little marsh wherein so much human ingenuity is concentrated.
Absolutely love this podcast. The narrator does a delightfully funny yet thorough job of digging through the details of the fascinating history of my quirky little country.
More please!!
Hands down my favorite history podcaat. One of the most thorough and entertaining podcasts out there. The narrator is 10/10 for wit and puns. It sounds obscure but, as you will learn while listening, everything revolves around the Dutch.
