  • A terrific podcast! Proof that what you need to produce quality content is a microphone, a well-written, well-researched script, and a presenter passionate about the subject matter. When a series is this good, the fluff and window-dressing that adorns other podcasts is just a distraction. I'm looking forward to Season 7.

  • This podcast is a thorough, informative, and entertaining dive into a variety of topics in Afican history. While there are periodic instances of post-production errors, this is quite understandable (and forgivable!) with the minimal staffing this podcast runs on. I applaud Andy, the podcast host, for his dedication to bringing an under-served branch of history to Western audiences, and his editor(s) for the behind-the-scenes, largely thankless work they put in on this podcast.
