We discuss Tony's new book, which is great (www.reverendhunter.com). We talk about theology, leaving the church, Tao and redemption, sacred places, and some personal things. Enjoy!
I hope you'll appreciate this conversation with Jason Adam Miller about his new book on Jesus' most paradoxical and misunderstood words at the beginning of the Sermon on the Mount. I loved this book, When the World Breaks. I've not read anything so... more
Here's another shorter podcast in my series, where I turn to poems, prayer, passages that have been important to me. I hope you'll hear your own hints and guesses. This week, we turn to Mary Oliver's classic, The Journey. Enjoy!

I appreciate Kent, but the podcast on Israel sounded like two white people defending the unfortunate necessity of Jim Crow laws. Part 2 was even worse. “Moral minefields?!” C’mon. I’m looking forward to Part 3, “Are your children being recruited by Hamas on TikTok?”
Really enjoying the 2 part exploration of myth and “ the father wound.” Kent explores the now cliched and is idea of “ patriarchy” through a deeper, more nuanced, and respectful lens. Hoping for my re episodes!
Kent is such an inspiring teacher and guide, shining a light on details in the pieces of the puzzle I try to put together in this life. It is so refreshing to hear rich conversations and ideas on topics that deserve so much more attention than the shallow one sentence memes on social media. Thanks Kent!
Another interesting podcast! I was glad you included a brief history of Fundamentalism as a starter.
Thank you, Kent, for crafting another very powerful teaching. Your work is a blessing to our world. We need your voice.
