This one hit hard Rob. I throughly enjoy your very refreshing and relevant take on what we are actually experiencing in this moment as a human species. What you mentioned about your dad.. man that moved me in a profound way… and are we only barely scratching the surface. Keep making your art, your podcasts. The world and we in the world need it now more than ever.
I enjoy Rob, because he is not a guru!!! He is a "mirror" as he reminds his listeners. Thought provoking and brings up the feels... and it makes me uncomfortable and rooting out the Why. The Questions! Love to listen when I need to hear it and sometimes seeing it through others questions. Which sparks my questioning...

I first read “Velvet Elvis” back in the early 2000s, visited Mars Hill on a Sunday he wasn’t there (oh the disappointment!), wondered what the heck he moved to CA for, and then discovered him again as his writing found a broader audience.
