WE love underrated parks! Lassen was a very cool, mini yellowstone like park. Very raw natural beauty to be found in this park. Highly recommend.
The majestic, beautiful, out of this world Redwood trees! This park truly had everything. The coast , the big tree groves, and the wildlife were all amazing.
Even though we forgot to mention it in the episode, this was our 50th National Park! Wohoo! Crater lake sure has a wow factor even though it is a smaller park. I would love to return and swim in the cleanest water found in America.
In this episode we talk with Isaac Eggebraaten who is the creator of Ike's Hikes. Isaac is a content creator who's mission is to hit all of Americas National Parks. If you are looking at planning a trip make sure to check out his youtube channel and ... more

Cuyahoga National Park in near Cleveland not Cincinnati.
This podcast helped plan our trip to Glacier, Yellowstone & Grand Teton! I love that they don’t claim to be experts, they just love national parks & want to share their experience. There’s so many things to read online about how to have the best trip in each national park, but I loved the insider scoop of this podcast such as what time bus schedules start & how if you start early, don’t feel bad about taking naps in the middle of the day when it’s busiest. These helped for a stress free time & m... more
This podcast is extremely accurate and gives great advice for many different national parks and trails! I’ve personally used their advice for my own adventures! Thank you for all the tips and keeping us entertained!
I listened to the first half of the Denali episode but had to stop because I couldn’t stand how factually incorrect it is. You CAN see Mt Denali inside the park without taking a bus that you have to pay for. There are sites to see it (when it’s out) between miles 9 and 15. There are NO ground hogs, elk or goats in the park. This is really basic information and indicates the hosts ignorance about the places they visit.
