I love listening to these two friends because they are so genuine and funny. I loved the recent collaboration episode “Unsolved: Shenandoah and Acadia National Park.
Thank you for making my commute back and forth to work bearable!
Nature lover and wilderness professional here (backpacking guide) and this podcast is EVERYTHING. Speaking up for human rights is incredibly courageous and you two are amazing!! Keep doing it, it’s YOUR podcast so you get to say what you want. It’s not political to talk about human rights. Love you ladies, so proud of you ❤️

The Greenland episode was one of the best and inspired me to watch the movie. Thanks so much for all your hard work!
This is my first podcast review ever. I listen to about 13 podcasts on various topics and these two ladies are in my top 5 favorites.
I discovered them while listening to Astonishing Legends.
This NP after Dark podcast then led me to discover Tooth& Claw.
All great podcasts, but I digress.
I like how they really do their homework and make it interesting to keep listening.
The journeys they go on and invite others to join them.

Listeners tune in for engaging outdoor storytelling that blends nature lore, historical park events, and true crime elements set against public lands. Episodes skew toward adventure misadventures, conservation themes, and the darker side of national parks, often pairing vivid travel tales with reflections on safety, accessibility, and ethics in storytelling. A standout dynamic is the banter between two clearly passionate hosts who value curiosity, humor, and responsible exploration, making darker histories feel approachable rather than sensational.
