  • Detailed trip reports are SO helpful

I had to stop my workout right now to leave a review. This podcast is amazing. I’m listening to the episode about Yellowstone and it is giving me all the details I really want about where to eat and what to do. I’ve done some research but hearing the details of exactly how much for two chicken strips is what I need to know. I appreciate knowing about the gluten-free food, the ambience, hikes, what was worth it, and what wasn’t worth it. This is my new favorite podcast for national parks because... more

  • Abigail

Not trying to be mean at all, but Jason has such a nice slow, calm delivery, I like to listen to it while I’m driving to help me relax and enjoy the moment. Abigail, I’m sure means well, but her fast pace and sheer amount of talking gives me anxiety and a possible heart murmur. Just a suggestion to cut back on Abigail‘s part in the show. Not saying she shouldn’t be there, she has a different perspective, but she gets in four words to Jason‘s one when he’s the voice most of us want to hear.

  • Volume

I used to listen to every episode, but I don’t really care for all the industry news on mergers etc. I did just enjoy February’s Biggest RV Travel Mistakes. However, I was reminded how poorly modulated your mics are to accommodate for the difference in your individual voice volumes. I have to constantly turn down the volume when Abby chimes in or talks over Jason. Maybe the new studio will help. I’ll continue to drop in occasionally to see if there is content I’d enjoy.

Q: What is the motivation behind propane-free motorhomes and vans?
Manufacturers are offering propane-free options not to push environmentalism, but to meet customer preferences for simpler fueling, better space efficiency, and the ability to heat with a robust battery-powered or fuel-based system while maintaining performance.
398. BIG Nat'l Park Entry Changes, ALLIANCE to Build Motorhomes With Co-Founder Coley Brady
Q: What does the acquisition of Midwest Automotive Designs mean for Alliance and the future of potential Alliance branded motorhome?
The Midwest name will live on as it has a strong brand associated with luxury products. They are considering launching an Alliance branded Class B motorhome at the next year's open house.
384. Our RV Winterizing Weekend, Future of RV A/C, and More
Q: Could you do a piece on transmission coolers?
Most RVers don't upgrade or add external transmission coolers unless they are towing heavy loads.
384. Our RV Winterizing Weekend, Future of RV A/C, and More
Q: Curious about your thoughts on mini splits. Do you think those will become the norm?
Mini-splits are efficient but I don't think they will become mainstream due to the ease of installation of traditional air conditioners.
382. RV "Quality" Awards and Maintaining RV Batteries in the Winter
Q: Do you recommend leaving a camper plugged in over the winter or not and why?
In general, it's absolutely fine to be plugged in and probably one of the better ways to keep your batteries charged throughout the winter.
