  • Stop shouting

Would like to get the opinions of the guests and not the presenters . Shouty screechy interrupting and the cutting guests off quickly as they only give them short amount of time . They Ciara and Shane then just argue with each other . Two too many egos here

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The legal right to switch off from work while on leave
Q: Is the right to disconnect a legal requirement or guidance in Ireland, and how does it practically apply to different sized businesses?
It's not a law; it's guidance via the Workplace Relations Commission code of practice. Larger organizations often formalize it in SLAs, while smaller firms can use culture and documented policies to set expectations about after-hours availability.
Calls to ban hare coursing in Ireland
Q: Paul, given that we slaughter literally millions upon millions of animals every year, do a couple of hair matters?
Paul Murphy argues that hare coursing is cruel and out of step with modern values, citing wildlife suffering and the unnecessary harm to hares, and supports banning the practice with a just transition for those involved.
The carbon impact of election posters
Q: How significant is the environmental impact of posters compared to digital advertising?
While posters are visibly intrusive, their carbon footprint is comparatively small when viewed against the energy use of digital ads, which can be disproportionately larger for online content.
The carbon impact of election posters
Q: What is the point of posters in the modern era?
Posters still reach people who are not engaged through traditional media and help with name and face recognition, which can lead to increased engagement with candidates.
Two massive earthquakes have rocked Venezuela
Q: What happened and when did it occur?
The earthquakes occurred in the early evening near Caracas, with magnitudes reported as 7.2 and 7.5, causing immediate building damage, power outages, and a halt to metro services.
