  • This podcast is a precis of one of the most disgustingly 'woke' shows on Irish radio thes days (and believe me there's a lot of competition in that area unfortunately).

The other week I heard one of their TV reviewers complaining about a new American show aimed primarily at LGB teens.

He said he was disappointed that the depictions on screen of the two teenaged gays only showed them kissing, and that he would have preferred to see them (and I quote) 'explore each other' more on screen.

What is ‘Spermmaxxing’ - and does it go too far?
Q: What should men focus on to improve fertility rather than chasing quick fixes?
Prioritize a balanced Mediterranean-style diet, maintain a healthy weight, ensure good sleep, get daylight exposure, engage in regular outdoor activity, and avoid practices that may harm sperm health (like restrictive clothing and excessive cycling without proper ventilation); also consider medical guidance to check specific deficits such as vitamin D or hormonal imbalances.
What is ‘Spermmaxxing’ - and does it go too far?
Q: But it doesn't (to exogenous testosterone) despite people believing it will improve masculinity and virility?
The guest explains that exogenous testosterone can suppress the body's own production, which is counterproductive for long-term fertility and overall health, and emphasizes consulting a doctor to assess individual hormonal needs before any hormone supplementation.
Who are the political dynasties of Ireland?
Q: What seems to drive voters to support dynasty candidates—the name, the legacy, or something else?
Voters are often attracted by familiarity and perceived reliability associated with dynastic names; voters may associate a dynasty with continuity and trust, which makes name recognition a recurring decisive factor in elections.
Who are the political dynasties of Ireland?
Q: Is this phenomenon peculiar to Ireland or a broader, universal political pattern?
The discussion draws a parallel with international examples, noting that name familiarity is a powerful electoral signal elsewhere (e.g., the United States), but it remains a distinctly persistent feature in Ireland's political landscape as well.
Who are the political dynasties of Ireland?
Q: Are political dynasties reducing now, or is the phenomenon still very popular?
Danny McConnell argues that dynasties remain widespread and influential, with numerous examples across parties and generations, suggesting the trend is not diminishing in the near term; name recognition continues to give candidates an electoral advantage.
