  • Lots of great information and resources

My only complaint is I'm always trying to write or look up something new that I've learned or a new resource 😉

  • Thank You

Thank you for your tribute to John Gallagher. He contributed greatly to the herbal community, his podcast and all affiliated projects (and yours) are go-tos for my herbal ‘radio’ as I roll across my Canadian province working for a (legit) herbal supplement brand as a medical herbalist here. He brought so many herbalists to light and so much plant knowledge to light. I hope he has found peace. He will be missed.

Q: What can herbalists learn from therapists?
Herbalists can adopt greater patience with clients, understanding that adherence to a protocol may be affected by non-clinical factors, and emphasize the therapeutic relationship and inner work alongside plant-based protocols.
Where Mental Health & Herbalism Meet with Therapist Yasmeen Faraj
Q: What can therapists learn from herbalists?
Therapists can learn to reconnect clients with nature to support healing, recognize that healing comes from the whole environment, and appreciate how plant allies can be integrated into treatment plans while respecting boundaries and pace.
Herbalism, Imposter Syndrome & Plant Connection | Sam Roberts & Renée Camila
Q: How do you achieve an inclusive herbal education through an anti-oppressive framework?
We lean into recognizing how systems of power impact health, and we integrate Native Indigenous plant perspectives while aiming to dismantle colonial patterns. Teachings strive for dignity and liberation, with accountability for blind spots and a commitment to making herbal education accessible to diverse communities.
