Q: Why did you decide to start your Motivational Mic podcast and how has its focus evolved over time?
It started because I was bored in the summer and saw an opportunity to share a strong message; over time the podcast has shifted to highlight stories of resilience, reinvention, and purpose, including interviews with inspirational people and cancer survivors.

A nurse finally ordered comprehensive blood work and imaging that revealed abnormal platelet counts and other issues, prompting a higher level evaluation and ultimately the AML diagnosis at Albany Medical Center, where a treatment plan including a clinical trial was established.
