21. Pastor Asks: Do Latter-day Saints Believe I'm Working for Satan?

Membership is not automatically revoked for private doubt, but public denial of core beliefs like Jesus being the Savior can lead to removal, with a focus on pastoral care and due process.
21. Pastor Asks: Do Latter-day Saints Believe I'm Working for Satan?
Q: Do Latter-day Saints believe pastors are working in concert with Satan?
No; the conversation explains that the archetype in the temple represents corrupt religion, not all pastors, and emphasizes reading texts in their historical context and avoiding broad generalizations.
18. An Evangelical & Latter-day Saint Expose Each Other's Biggest Myths
Q: If Jesus sat down with you and a Protestant evangelical, what do you think he would say about what the two of you might be missing?
He would likely affirm the value of liturgical, embodied worship and ritual as a meaningful way to engage with God, while also appreciating the evangelical emphasis on personal relationship and grace; the key is to balance reverence with open-hearted mission and humility.

18. An Evangelical & Latter-day Saint Expose Each Other's Biggest Myths
Q: What can Latter-day Saints learn from other Christians about Easter?
There's value in emphasizing the cross and the atonement, integrating the crucifixion, suffering in Gethsemane, and the resurrection to present a more holistic understanding of salvation rather than sidelining the cross in favor of other aspects of atonement.
