  • need improvement

best podcast guy i’ve found for raptors… but needs a host to keep on track a lot of rambling with pods everyday same thing re said in 40 dif ways to make it an hour I guess? would be great if it was like the leaf report pod on the athletic, talk about the games, how they can improve, injuries trades, league news a little etc. hard to listen to just rambling of same points over and over

  • Best Toronto Sports Pod

Been a fan of Will’s work since his “10 Things” reviews of Raptors games. Been a fan of Alex since his generational twitter run as Steven LeBron. Combining them provides insightful, engaging and hilarious content. I now always look for Will’s big head at Raptors games. One of my best friends is the legendary Wongstradomus. Also Shout out to Jerome and the intern. Keep up the good work ❤️

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Inside the incredible Toronto Tempo debut | TEMPO TIME
Q: But Chelsea, what was your first impression of the roster? What does Tempo look like?
Chelsea described the game as ugly but notes the roster is very young, with many rookies stepping into a new league and a learning curve for chemistry and defense. She highlighted Mabry as a focal point and stressed that the team's defense and pace will improve as players gain rhythm and familiarity with the system.
Scottie Superstar, CMB and RJ heroes, and The Jamison Battle game with Danny Green
Q: What was the key adjustment Darko made for game three?
The hosts note Darko's adjustments included shorter, more aggressive ball pressure, selective double-teams, and timely substitutions to keep James Harden from getting into a rhythm, while emphasizing guard-to-guard switching and attacking mismatches on offense.
React Pod: Raptors no match for Pistons' physicality
Q: What was the overarching factor in Detroit's win?
Detroit's edge came from their relentless physicality, smart screening, and timely shot-making, which disrupted Toronto's rhythm and forced them into a disjointed offensive game.
React Pod: Raptors get clapped by Clippers + revisiting vintage 2013-14 wins
Q: What went wrong on offense tonight for the Raptors?
The Raptors struggled with outside shooting and ball movement, allowing the Clippers to control the game through defense and veteran execution, while the younger Raptors failed to capitalize on opportunities and sustain momentum.
React Pod: Kawhi Leonard's weird answer on 2019 plus a pretty fun All-Star Saturday
Q: What do you think about your decision to leave after winning with the Raptors?
Kawhi's response was more about the growth of young players rather than his own decision.
