- Just tell the story
If you have a story to tell, tell it. In most cases it’s best to just start at the beginning and tell it from there to the end. Sure, you can do some foreshadowing, some look backs and so on, but don’t keep recapping as if we have no attention span, and don’t keep emphasizing the incredible importance of one event — we get it, this meeting was an important moment in the story. But just tell the story. Get on with it.

I really enjoyed this podcast. The host was spectacular. His voice and emotion lent much to the story. I remember the Hale-Bopp Comet, and how beautiful it was. Too bad that a cult used its appearance as a catalyst for a very selfish act.

This podcast does a wonderful job of humanising the deceased members, the families of those who perished, and the members who still remain. It gives you a better understanding of their beliefs and shows a beautiful kindness that seems to have existed in the group. If you’re looking for salacious - you won’t get it here. If you want to understand different perspectives and feel the humanness of this story and the group members then you will love it.
