Over the last year the move to video has made listening to podcast less valuable and less pleasant. I am not sitting around watching this I listen to podcast on my commute so not sure it worth continuing to subscribe
I am listening to their intro to gunfire and they don’t understand banging food pans and using a cap pistol are the same “baby steps “ to starting to introduce sudden, sharp sounds. The reason to introduce gun sounds while eating is to pair the sound with a pleasurable, dopamine releasing activity which, in this case, is eating. Of course you should stand far away when first introducing the sound.
Wanted give a quick review. I’m a first time gun dog owner and I’m bound and determined to train on my own. It is this podcast that has pointed me in the right direction every step of the way thus far. You’re doing a great job, please keep them coming.
Hey Nick, I really enjoyed your interview with Kevin and discussion about proper hydration including the supplement like Furvor that includes the nutrients like electrolytes and protein to maintain stamina for hard working bird dogs. This might be the answer for those reluctant to feed their dogs before a hunt.
It was also refreshing to hear from another Brittany owner plus a native Marylander like myself! Keep them coming!
