I listen to a lot of podcasts but this is the first I would describe as life-changing. I find it so soothing and validating. I highly recommend it to all parents, especially those who didn’t get the emotional support they needed in their childhood. Cath brings warmth, insight, intelligence, compassion, vulnerability and humour. It feels like listening to a wise, older sister and really complements the work I am doing in therapy to work through the impact of my own childhood. I am incredibly grat... more
Absolutely loving this podcast! I have gone right back to the beginning and will work through. Everything Cath has said has deeply resonated with my experience and is echoing the work I’m doing in therapy. It is an absolute gift of a listen! I appreciate Cath’s generosity in sharing and adding journal prompts to further self reflection. I’ve already WhatsApped the podcast to all my close friends 💓
I feel so understood. I have yet found my “people” in real life yet through this motherhood journey but this podcast does help me feel like they’re out there. Great information, perspective and details especially in the little ramblings, love it.
This podcast is exceptional. Cath is incredibly insightful about how our childhood affects us in our parenting. Her ability to shine the spotlight on these patterns in such a gentle, loving way makes her a true visionary. She translates complex psychotherapeutic concepts so effectively. I especially love the solo episodes and shame-free sharing. I’m Feeling very seen and held in my new motherhood. The world needs this revelatory content- please share.
This is several orders of magnitude more useful, grounding and healing than any coach/self-dev/IG Thera-podcast I’ve heard. Helpful for anyone, really, but a lifeline for me as mom confronted regularly by my own stuff. Binging and taking notes….
