Fantastic podcast. Professionally produced and delivered. It doesn’t have the depth to some of the other podcasts on this topic but nonetheless it’s well done.
Note to production on this pod: playing synth drum music constantly while people are talking is super annoying. Other than that, great content, excellent narration. Just please stop the synth under everything - it doesn’t add drama, just makes it hard to hear what they’re saying.
This comment is strictly for the police officer they interviewed. As someone who worked in law enforcement for you to say you don’t think police didn’t take this serious…then follow up with everyone wants to solve a serial killer - indicates the only motivation for this was bc they knew there was a serial killer. No doubt MANY of these officers did amazing work. But BURKE….no. He and probably some others def covered this up. This isn’t all Rex
Your guest was mistaken. Shannan lived in Jersey not the Bronx. Melissa lived in the Bronx and it was her sister that received calls.
could the host not correct her guest, post arrest, who spent the entire show calling melissa bertelemy shannon guilbert? that is so bad.
