We've got another week off next week but we'll be back for Labor Day, so we hope these hold you off until then. First, it's the Anne Hathaway Fights Dinosaurs movie "The End of Oak Street." Then it's Matthew McConaughey in "The Rivals of Amziah King.... more

Could the other host get a word in, you rambled on and on about the condition of the house. Now the other host is talking about the house. You said you both enjoyed the movie I think you both are giving an annoying repetitive review eww.
Your mileage may vary with this film podcast. Most episodes only review one or two new releases and they are pretty in depth. Unfortunately there are no longer time stamps to guide your listening experience.
So much of the beginning and end of the podcast is discussions of their personal lives, politics (ugh) or the “discourse” around a film.
I first found the Grierson and Leitch podcast thanks to a recommendation from the great Keith Law. I’ve listened every week since. I moved to Japan 10 years ago, and while I try to catch every non-dubbed movie I can, I miss too many of the movies I want to see. The podcast helps me enjoy all the films I can and can’t see on a whole other level. Listening each week feels like old times for me - watching a bunch of movies and then chatting about it over a beer with my buddies.

I’ve been listening to Will & Tim talk about movies since the Deadspin days. It’s the only podcast I don’t skip because I always enjoy hearing them discuss that week’s new releases, and I really appreciate learning about smaller movies I’d otherwise miss.
My movie request is 1997’s CURE by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. I saw it for the first time recently and became obsessed. A fascinating thriller that really rewards a rewatch.
