Way too much small talk and filler
Delightful podcast for those who love Hitch. The sisters bring a fun and different perspective of the classic TV series. Solid reviews and background of each episode with a quirky interaction that is engaging.
I love the Master of Suspense! Couldn’t get through the first listen tho. The millennial voice affectations (vocal fry, high pitch etc) was distracting. I’m old - I’ll try again.
What a fun and intriguing podcast! These sisters make the podcast engaging and stay on track with the topic :) Along with posing great questions and points that show what parts that didn’t age well. And also the mindset of the time with mental health and how the genre has changed and was influenced by Hitchcock. The burn-o-meter is a fun addition to the show too. I look forward to hear more as they cover the series.
If like me you think Alfred Hitchcock Presents/Hour is one of the coolest and most iconic TV series of all time, then this podcast is for you. Annie and Kathryn bring a uniquely reflexive and lyrical approach not only to their storytelling of the plot under consideration but also to the way in which they interrogate the episode under consideration. Easily among the best podcasters out there. So definitely a highly recommended.
