  • Danielle is a true gem.

I found Danielle a few years ago on Instagram and felt very connected to her work and communication style. She breaks things down in very understandable ways and has helped me deeply understand my female interactions (and better manage my expectations). As a therapist and relationship coach myself, I recommend her work to my clients all the time.

  • Lots of advertising

It’s hard to get a feel for real content here because she goes through all the products she offers.

  • Wonderful concept, lacking integrity

I found this podcast after hearing an interview with Danielle on another podcast. I was so disappointed to find that she doesn’t offer a single full episode for free, it comes across as a sad commodification of women’s needs. I get we all have to make a living and there are ways to monetize a podcast and provide some content for free. The way she’s chosen to monetize her podcast comes across as disingenuous and tone deaf. Especially within the context that she took a break for 2 months because y... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Why some women rush platonic intimacy in new friendships, with Minaa B.
Q: What practical steps can someone take to slow down and build a healthier pace in new friendships?
Begin by highlighting what you contribute and show you care in tangible ways, then acknowledge that others have different life circumstances. Practice self-validation, set realistic expectations, and consider seeking additional support from a therapist or groups when dealing with deeper issues.
Why some women rush platonic intimacy in new friendships, with Minaa B.
Q: Talk to me about what you think is going on when women feel the urge to rush closeness with a new friend.
People are hungry for connection and may misread a quick connection as a sign to accelerate closeness. They may overshare or seek emotional safety before the relationship has built enough trust, which can overwhelm the other person and derail the budding friendship.
Venting, co-rumination, and trauma dumping: what's the difference and where do we draw the line?
Q: What are the two camps you're hearing about venting's role in friendships, and how should people navigate it?
One camp views venting as healthy and necessary for connection, when done with capacity, reciprocity, and without pressuring the other person to solve problems. The other camp warns against overwhelming others, advocating for boundaries and self-regulation, and recognizing when venting crosses into demanding or inappropriate territory. The practical approach is to assess your friend's capacity, diversify your supportive network, and be explicit about needs and boundaries while prioritizing mutual respect and ongoing consent in conversations.
Venting, co-rumination, and trauma dumping: what's the difference and where do we draw the line?
Q: Can you start by telling us your definition of venting and its relationship to co-rumination and trauma dumping?
Venting is a one-way process where someone shares with the aim of expressing and releasing by having a listener, which can feel spacious and bonding when it's not demanding a solution. Co-rumination happens when both people escalate together, amplifying negativity and stress, often without moving toward resolution. Trauma dumping extends beyond venting by sharing highly traumatic details with someone who may not be equipped to handle it or consent to that level of disclosure, especially if the relationship isn't deep or established.
When ambition makes friendship harder: how high-achieving women can bridge the gap between success and connection
Q: What are some of the positive things or benefits you see in high-achieving women regarding their approach to life?
She notes that high achievers gain visibility, new opportunities, and a self-assuredness that helps them persevere through challenges, with tangible rewards in career and personal growth.
