  • Editing

Edit out the sounds of drinking, swallowing, chewing, to make the sound more professional. The information is good but the audio quality is very bad

  • Audio Recording

The audio quality is pretty bad. It kind of sounds like you and your guests are sitting in a bathtub. The content seems good but I can’t make it through a whole episode because of the poor audio quality. I am sorry if this comes across negatively. Just giving you some constructive feedback as the content seems good.

  • Minus a star for audio quality only!

Primo content that is applicable out of the gate. I only wish Christina could get a better mic as her content is so worth hearing more clearly.

The Power of the Annual Mobility Assessment: Interview with Dr. Mike Puthoff and Dr. Victoria Hamby
Q: How can a busy outpatient clinician actually integrate the AMA into their workflow?
Incorporate AMA into the plan of care for relevant visits, use CPT code 97750 for testing when paired with a written report, and consider community outreach or Day of Service events to expose more people to AMA with streamlined intake and post-assessment coaching.
The Power of the Annual Mobility Assessment: Interview with Dr. Mike Puthoff and Dr. Victoria Hamby
Q: What are the six physical performance measures included in the AMA, and how is data interpreted for patient communication?
The measures include usual and fast gait speed, a 30-second chair stand, the four-square step test, the test for overall mobility (TUG), and a dual-task TUG. Data are interpreted against age- and sex-based normative data, with a color-coded report card to indicate green (healthy relative to peers), yellow (preclinical mobility limitation), and red (mobility limitation) statuses.
The Power of the Annual Mobility Assessment: Interview with Dr. Mike Puthoff and Dr. Victoria Hamby
Q: What problem does the annual mobility assessment solve, and how have you seen that problem manifest in practice?
It targets subtle mobility declines that are often overlooked, catching preclinical mobility limitations early and allowing timely interventions like exercises, community programs, or medical follow-ups to prevent functional decline.
Founder's Story: Shelby Blankenship of Southern Grit PT and Wellness
Q: How do you handle conversations about in-network vs out-of-network pricing with patients?
We use transparent cash-based pricing and a good-faith estimate, explaining that in-network plans may cover less, and we outline deductibles and patient responsibility upfront to avoid surprises later.
Founder's Story: Shelby Blankenship of Southern Grit PT and Wellness
Q: What words of wisdom would you give to someone starting Medicare credentialing for a new practice?
Be prepared for a slow, deliberate process, expect a lot of 'hurry up and wait,' and don't rely on others to push the process—be the squeaky wheel and stay consistently proactive until you get real progress.
