Jubilee Christian Life Coach예수 그리스도의 제자들은 처음부터 "그리스도인"이라 일컬음을 받지 않았습니다. 그들이 처음 "그리스도인"이라 불린 배경에는 예루살렘에서 시작된 핍박이 있었습니다. 종교인들은 스데반이라는 사람을 신의 이름으로 죽였습니다. 그래서 예수의 제자들은 어쩔 수 없이 흩어졌습니다. 그런데 그 열악한 상황에도 그들은 예수의 복음, 즉 왕의 복음을 전했습니다. 어찌 보면 오히려 핍박 때문에 복음은 더 빨리 그리고 더 많은 사람들에게 전파되었습니다. 그 결과 "안디옥에서 비로소 그리스도인이라 일컬음을 받게 되었더라" 기록합니다(사도행전 11장).
