I just started listening and was okay with the first episode I heard. Started listening to a new episode of them talking about 2024 game awards and mannnn. They starting jumping into how capitalism is ruining the game awards. I was caught way off guard from this but kept listening and the whole time they seemed to give off the impression of disliking the game awards and critiqued the ad placements and orchestra at the award show…then will flip and say how much they enjoyed those same things. Political agenda. We tune in to be entertained about video games. Instead we get political garbage and why they’re no longer on X. Nobody cares.
The best gaming podcast there is! Lovely crew, great fun!
I used to really love this podcast. It used to be a standard gaming podcast, about the latest games and sometimes about older games as well. I have tried to tune out when this person speaks, but I have decided to just move on. I recently decided to check each episode to see if Amanda is ... more

A thoughtful, long-running gaming discussion show that blends analysis of recently released titles with broader conversations about indie games, game design, and the cultural side of gaming. Episodes often feature banter among a core set of hosts and occasional guests, covering hands-on impressions, narrative elements, and personal anecdotes, while also debating industry trends, accessibility, and the role of politics in gaming. The tone can range from light and warm to pointed and opinionated, with a strong community feel and an emphasis on listening to listeners' experiences and feedback.
