  • Love the pod. Sam, your audio sucks. With love from a fellow Canuck.

Beb, your guests are sounding better than you. Are you transmitting your voice with two cans and a string…

I’m giving you sass bc I know you can understand, but id love to hear your voice loud and clear rather than down a long hallway. 💋

  • Last episode was a total bummer

Started listening to this podcast recently and was really enjoying it until Jon Lovett started going off on Philadelphia and Sam chimed in with her agreement. What the heck? Mean-spirited attack on a wonderful city by two people I respected up to that point.

Choices We Made: Mother or Father? (with Atsuko Okatsuka)
Q: When you're consuming, what do you like?
I do sometimes read dark things when I go to bed, personal stories from the Holocaust, and I want to understand societies and what makes people do the things they do.
Choices We Made: Mother or Father? (with Atsuko Okatsuka)
Q: Are you ever drawn to making your material political?
I keep up with it but realized I was trying to sound like political comedians and decided that storytelling might be more my way of adding to political conversations.

Q: So even petty questions for my guests?
The answer is apparently in staffing and logistics.
Earth or Space? (with Kal Penn)
Q: Was it your goal to also tear it down brick by brick?
It was kind of a shitty building to be honest.

Q: Are you good at making decisions for yourself?
I'm generally not a calculated choice maker; I'll go with what feels right for me right now.
