  • Stop talking so much

Josh - you aren’t the smartest in the room. Quit boasting about all of what you know and your accomplishments and let the people on your show TALK. Shawn Ryan is successful because he is talking less than 5% of the show. Ask more questions and let them speak instead of always adding to what they say, f me.

  • Today’s episode needs fixed!!

Hey Josh, listen to your podcast daily! Today’s most recent show needs edited badly. The clips run over each other so everyone is talking at the same time and then long silent pauses! Other than that, this podcast is great!!

Love it. Great guest, very pertinent info.

Stop Planning, Start Serving: Matt Jozwiak on Turning Action into Impact and Scaling a New Restaurant Economy
Q: Can you walk us through the moment when you realized you needed to pivot from the original model to something that pays restaurants to feed people?
The shift came during the early days of how to remove steps in the process; during COVID we decided to fund and empower restaurants to package and cater meals for community groups, which evolved into paying them to produce meals and eventually scale with government dollars.
How to Build a Cult Brand: Ben Van Leeuwen on Trust, Taste, and Scaling Without Shortcuts
Q: How do you define success and growth over the next five years?
Success is happiness and doing more of what Ben loves—product innovation, serving guests, and helping others—while building a scalable, profitable business that funds the things he values most.
How to Build a Cult Brand: Ben Van Leeuwen on Trust, Taste, and Scaling Without Shortcuts
Q: In your mind, what are they buying when they come to your shops or buy your product?
They are buying an affordable luxury—ice cream that is as good as it can be, a premium experience that feels special yet is accessible, and a brand they can trust for quality across both scoop shops and grocery channels.
Revenue Beyond the Dining Room: Sam Bernstein on Turning Superfans into Six Figures
Q: How does Table 22 help operators plan and test new revenue ideas beyond the dining room?
Table 22 provides a full operating system with marketing playbooks, customer data integration, AI-driven concept ideas, and turnkey content that operators can approve and deploy, turning ideas into scalable, margin-friendly products.
Revenue Beyond the Dining Room: Sam Bernstein on Turning Superfans into Six Figures
Q: What makes offer creation work best when aligning a brand with the guest base?
Offers should connect to the operator's authentic North Star and core business, be tailored to the brand's unique strengths (e.g., wine program, pasta), and fit within operational realities to maximize perceived value and long-term profitability.
