I listen to a lot of podcasts, but this is the first review I have ever written. I absolutely love this conversation which engages questions that people send in. You are all so thoughtful, kind, real, honest, and you actually address the things that go through my mind, without sounding churchy or with prescriptive “oughts”. Your faith is beautiful, and inspires me to deepen my faith. Thank you for having these conversations. I want spiritual friends like you!
This is such a beautiful podcast. It’s so refreshing to hear them talk about their faith in such an honest and reflective way. They lack the pretense of perfection that is easy to display. And that’s just what I needed to heal my heart of disappointment and betrayal. Thank you! Please make many more episodes!
Really love this podcasts. The conversations are so thoughtful and relevant. The hosts are kind and encouraging. Thank you
Respectful and generous conversations between three very different people covering topics that I guess most people at some point scratched their spiritual heads over.
Not a single episode that fails to smash the profound button. I say smash, but it’s more of a sneaky squeak by these gentle, kind people, but it somehow amplifies through the spiritual levers to signify in the innermost and boom! I’ve had to stop , rewind and pause to not rush past a pure golden nugget from any of the three.
Love the different perspectives from Nate, Richella, and James. So appreciate the different streams you have all lived through that have brought you to your current state of deep desire to know and share Jesus.

The show centers on Christian spiritual formation through thoughtful dialogue, listener questions, and practical guidance for building intimate faith communities. Conversations often weave practical steps for small groups, formation practices, and discursive explorations of obedience, rest, and open dialogue across Christian traditions. Notable is the recurring collaboration with Renovaré leadership and a mix of scholars, practitioners, and church leaders who bring ecumenical perspectives, making it a resource for listeners seeking deeper formation and community-minded faith. Potential guests and sponsors can expect discussions that balance scripture, experiential practices, and real-world applicability for faith formation and leadership.
