As a fellow Xennial/Elder Millennial, I really enjoy hearing these three hilarious people discuss movies. It’s especially fun when they discuss pop culture from the late 80s and 90s, because I have almost the exact same frame of reference. The chemistry that Jordan, Emily, and Matt have is really what makes this a top tier show for me. Jordan often has some really cool insights into films. Emily is reliably hilarious with her unfiltered commentary delivered in a very ad-lib/improv style. And Mat... more
Come for the chemistry between the hosts and producer, stayed for the stings (and because it’s a horny pod, as most good comedy rewatch pods are). I think what makes this show so fun is the variety. I’ve listened to lots of rewatch stuff, but they’re usually so specific to a show or “bad movies only.” The unique goodness of this show is that it’s only criteria is Free with Ads. Some episodes touch on good and meaningful films for the hosts. It’s also loaded with tons of bad movies too, and every... more
It is absolutely criminal that this podcast has been on as long as it has and this is the first review on audible. Emily, Jordan and Matt are phenomenal, they have amazing chemistry and are all so funny. They are comedy treasures and this podcast has allowed me to experience them in a different way than previously from their appearances in GMM (which are fantastic by the way). This podcast is how it goes when you and some clause friends are discussing movies and goofing off and laughing about th... more
Honestly, I got in to this pod because I’m a huge fan of Emily but I do enjoy the dynamic of these three. Right now I’m only listening to episodes of movies I’ve already seen but once I’ve reached the end of that strategic rope, I think I’m going to start watching the free movies they watched and then listen to the episode about it so I can…be involved in the conversation? These folks are my friends and it’s not sad. Another comment said turn up Jordan and that’s also my only critique!
Please think of your elder millennial audience when you make these drops.
