  • Not impressed

Calling people cheaters and dopers for taking medication/treatment for injury recovery is a bad, uneducated take. Show-hosts are apparently oblivious to the facts specific to the athletes, and to peptides in general. Yet they talk and talk as if they actually know.

  • Just great!

I never thought I’d say this, but I’ve found a trail running podcast that is good for my mental health?? Is that too far? Maybe… but… I find myself listening to Free Outside consistently to take a break from how serious the world is right now. I love the stoke, simplicity, pervasive kindness, and nerdy humor. The occasional philosophical digressions are thoughtful and interesting, and it’s rare to find a perspective that values both growth / competition and adventure equally. Weirdly helping to ... more

I stumbled across this podcast in its early days and was immediately intrigued. Jeff’s voice and delivery had me convinced Erlich Bachman had taken up ultramarathoning. Who knew? I stayed for the regular, thought-provoking conte... more
