This podcast should be renamed the Stephen R. Covey podcast. Harding and Wright gush over Covey like a couple of fanboys. I bet for every 100 mentions of Covey, Smith is mentioned once.
Why should I care? My 1994 Franklin Quest planner is virtually identical to my 2026 Franklin Planner. What did Dr. Covey have to do with the 1994 planner? Nothing.
RIP, Hyrum. You deserve to be remembered.
I can’t speak highly enough about this podcast. Every single episode is excellent, is enjoyable, and I learn so much from it. This is my absolutely favorite podcast.
I love productivity information and I think the Franklin Planner company with their long history has some interesting things to say. But the host George interrupts his guests and his usual co-host John enough that it’s distracting me from the content. I’m not sure I’m gong to stay subscribed. I especially want to hear what John has to say. George, stop interrupting people.
Whether you work in a corporate office, project manager, in a leadership position, work in retail, or even a stay-at-home parent like myself, there’s so much to gain and learn from these episodes. The episodes with David Anderson and Carl Pullein were incredibly inspiring and this podcast has motivated me to get some new Franklin planner inserts and start planning out the life I really want to live. It’s a planner system that has worked in the past and will continue to for years to come.
Just saw this in the new Lead Your Life mag & am excited to have a FC podcast! Looking forward to more episodes. Am also reading Live Life in Crescendo and would love to hear from people using FC in “retirement.”
