I've only been a manager for a few years and so I'm continuing to learn how to manage people, processes, and substantive matters. As a former litigation attorney who has transitioned to a non-legal role, I'm aware that lawyers tend to be terrible managers! This podcast has helped me tremendously.
I really wanted to like this podcast but the host ruins it. The constant vocal fry and uptalk is awful!
Thank you for your podcast, in every episode I find real tools to bring into my leadership / management role.
A must listen for middle managers!!
In my work as a DEI facilitator and consultant, I often see managers who are expected to be “all things” but don’t get the training and support to do it well. While we can challenge our organizations to do this differently, this podcast serves as a helpful guide for mid-level managers to build their people and management skills along the way.
Practical advice for one of most important, but often overlooked groups in our workplaces, managers. Mamie does an excellent job bringing on and interviewing wise guests who provide actionable advice for challenges that managers face. Thanks, Mamie!
