I really do love this new podcast Katy just put out because it’s cool learning some thing and I love a history lesson. I do feel like some of the stories in podcast or a bit long winded. I wish she had a bit of a better format.
By exploring past events and people this podcast is an insightful and well-executed exploration into the world that has shaped us. Katy delves into concepts that us history buffs can’t get enough of.
Honestly the concept for this podcast is great, I am just disappointed in the execution so far. I wish the host was more mature and would just stick to the story or source material instead of interjecting with random facts about her life or the weather. It seems to me like this is trying to be more educational but is missing the mark and still coming across as another generic influencer podcast. I am hoping it is just taking a few episodes to get the hang of it and it will get better.
I could definitely listen to Katy read the phone book (do they even make those anymore lol) or read the dictionary. Katy has such a soothing and calm voice and is an exquisite story teller!!! I’ve already told everyone I know about the podcast and there are only two episodes!!! I can’t get enough. I’m so excited for the next one. As a not-really history buff, Katy makes this history-esque podcast so entertaining and I want to know more!! more
I’ve listened to Katy since she was doing thick & thin and was so sad when that podcast ended since it was one of my favs. I was so excited when she started this one, and it does not disappoint!!!!
