Why do people respond to the gospel differently? It’s good to share the gospel. The gospel is powerful. The problem is the heart of the listener.
When Jesus calls us to follow Him, He wants to change everything about our lives - even who we eat with. In Mark 2:13-18, we see Jesus eating with tax collectors and sinners, encouraging us to welcome those who are far from God in our lives.
What do we do when our friends have an unsolvable problem? We know we can’t solve it, so bring them to the One who can - Jesus!
The shame of sin keeps us from God and others and that makes for a lonely life. In this story, we see Jesus’ heart to heal us, removing the shame and restoring us to Himself and those around us.
In a culture of entitlement, Jesus gives us an example of sacrificial service fueled by fervent prayer. Service is not about what we get but what we give.
Jesus is not just any other authority- He is the eternal authority. In this episode, we look at how His word carries unmatched power: to heal, push back darkness, and set us free. And we can find true freedom by listening to and obeying Jesus.
In the Baptism and Temptation of Jesus, we learn that Jesus is like us in His humanity and unlike in His divinity. That is good news because He identifies with our weaknesses while fulfilling all righteousness on our behalf.
Jesus announces that God’s kingdom is here—and invites us to lay down our crowns of self-rule. The good news? When we surrender to Him, we find real life.
