I'm giving a one star review as the podcast hosts purport to welcome those who disagree and claim to invite conversation. However, they blocked me from the FB page for disagree and showing evidence that they do, in fact, refer to those disagreeing with them as Kool Aid drinkers.
Our field is full of people who just want to help others. But we are constantly limited by caseloads, politics, low salaries, insurance, and productivity. Many people regret going into our field due to working conditions. The average person has NO idea what SLPs do and how we can help. ASHA is not doing their job in advocating for us and instead takes our HARD earned money so they can lobby to require membership and pay their employees bloated salaries.
