I look forward to the biweekly episodes, each of which leaves me wanting to dive deeper into fire investigation training. Because WTF.
I loved the initial SAW podcast and when I saw the agenda for the southern OR IAAI and learned that there was going to be a SAW exercise I was bummed that I was unable to attend. Loved this episode as well.
Hopefully the SAW group will expand its reach and I will be able to attend something like this.
Keep up the GREAT WORK!

This show centers on origin-and-cause fire investigations, with hosts who translate complex forensic concepts into practical insight for professionals. Episodes regularly cover techniques, standards (like NFPA 921 and 1033), safety, case studies, and the interplay between public and private sector investigations. A standout trait is the explicit focus on training, evidence collection, and courtroom credibility, often featuring guests who bring technical expertise, leadership experience, or real-world frontline perspectives. A bi-weekly cadence and a community-driven approach help it feel both educational and deeply practical for investigators, trainers, and agencies seeking up-to-date practices and networking opportunities.
