This podcast has unfortunately lost its way. What used to feel relatable now comes across as completely inauthentic. Ali constantly talks about "traveling and building community," but it’s painfully obvious that this is just a thinly veiled excuse to overcharge listeners so she can travel for free and rake in commissions. Instead of offering real value, we are treated to endless, mind numbing details about her ring shopping and curly hair journey. It’s incredibly boring.
Lately, the podcast has taken a downward turn. Ali often comes across as anxious, and no longer having a cohost makes that stand out more. Thats why the dynamic worked well with Erica, who has a more laid-back and humorous vibe that balanced things out.
Tbh Ali can come across as a bit too corporate, which is not really why I tune into a podcast about dating, relationships, and now “life.” On that note, I am not sure what unique perspective she is offering in the broader “life coach” space. An... more
This used to be fun and upbeat podcast when had co hosts now it’s becoming dull, boring, and unfocused. For example she’s been talking about her curly hair journey for multiple episodes, no one cares about this on a “ dating” podcast. She should stop this podcast to be honest or get focused on her content.
I used to be a consistent follower and listener but I realize now it was mostly for Roarke. Ali is nice but I think now that she’s solo it’s become very clear that this is simply not the right line of work for her. I hope she can either find a producer/editor who can help? I know she likes doing this but I think she should also ask herself what value she’s putting out in the world. Positioning yourself as a dating expert while blatantly disregarding all the advice she’s ever given is borderline ... more
A longtime listener, I tell all my friends how great this podcast is, but now I feel the need to tell strangers. Her perspective and advice are words of comfort to me each Monday. I’m so glad she’s found her Mr. Height, and she is still podcasting! We love you Ali, keep sharing your voice!
