The show starts with some quick thoughtss on the passing of Tim Wakefield. Wake deserves his own episode. I have an idea in mind that will take a bit of time to put toghter, but keep an eye out. Hats off to NESN for the job they did honoring Wake whi... more
Another year, another year with a losing record, another year in last place. An awful day for Red Sox fans on the field, and off the field with Curt Schilling sharing (with or without permission) that Tim Wakefield is battling brain cancer, while Tim... more
The day we weren’t sure would ever come has arrived. As critical as I’ve been of the job Chaim Bloom has done as CBO of the Red Sox, this doesn’t feel like a day to celebrate. It really is another organizational failure.
I break down the Bloom tenu... more
The 2023 Red Sox have finally died. It might have taken longer than I thought, but it happened… For the first time we have a guest on the show! My cousin Adam joins Fenway on Fire to discuss going to Mookie’s return game to Fenway, the 2023 season an... more

No, they like really do. As much as I enjoyed that sweep over the Yankees, that series was as much about them as it was the Red Sox. For the Sox the story is their young rotation coming together. With Houck suffering that facial fracture, they need t... more
Back from sabbatical! A month ago this team was flying! Now, not so much. I take a micro-view of the club and talk about the June 8 game against Cleveland where Matt Dermody started and Corey Kluber was left to die. Then I take a macro view of the cl... more
The Sox are hot! I feel like I should be happier about it. I explain why. I also take a look at how the Red Sox have gone on this heater, who the key contributors have been, and will it continue. More critically, does this run vailidate the moves and... more
Barely made it through my first listen hoping for some positivity as we head into spring training this week but I won’t be listening anymore, I can just read all the same negativity all over twitter.
Went back and listened to all of the prior episodes. Entertaining and informative. I love the John Henry imitation. More than one host leads to a lot of nonsense and an inordinate time commitment for the listener. Glad you don’t have that problem. Keep up the good work!
Nice job!
If the 2018 Red Sox were a podcast it would be this show.
