  • FINALLY someone else

Massive 5 stars to whoever finally decided that this show desperately needed another voice. The new host brings such a fresh voice to the postgame shows. Makes listening to the solo episodes with the wannabe GM a little more bearable now.

  • False review info

I saw a review that said there were racial slurs. I have watched for a while and can assure you there aren’t especially because the guy who made it had the name of Celtics 2025 so I don’t think he knows what he is talking about because this podcast is gas!!

  • Can’t please everyone

The fact that there are comments here complaining that Jake is both too positive and too negative should tell you that he does a good job of covering the team. Listen to this everyday. Keep it up!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Atlanta Braves Revitalize Farm with Eric Hartman & Tate Southisene Trending UPWARD in Top 30
Q: How believable is Eric Hartman's performance given the 52-game sample size?
The hosts emphasize Hartman's approach and pitch selection as reasons to take the performance seriously, noting his ability to attack the zone and both his hit tool and power have shown legitimate upside, suggesting the improvement is more than a short-term surge.
Atlanta Braves MAILBAG: Should Austin Riley Be Benched?
Q: What do you do with Riley if he continues to struggle?
The host argues he probably won't be benched for long and that Riley will continue to play, with possible shifts to give him space while Dubón or Kim could see more reps elsewhere if needed.
Atlanta Braves MAILBAG: Go All-In For a Big Bat Or Arm At the Trade Deadline?
Q: If you could only pick one move to make at the deadline, and there's nothing that says they can only make one big move, they can certainly do both; which would you pick between a big bat or a top arm?
The host seems partially torn but emphasizes the importance of securing a true number two starter to pair with Chris Sale, while noting the offense could be fine or improved with healthy players like Acuña and Riley; overall, a strong case is made for prioritizing pitching depth with the flexibility to still pursue offense later.
Atlanta Braves MAILBAG: Go All-In For a Big Bat Or Arm At the Trade Deadline?
Q: With Schwellenbach hopefully to return later this year, along with AJ Smith-Shawver and Hurston Waldrep soon, would you prefer the all-in move be for an SP2 or a right-handed power bat?
The host leans toward prioritizing a top-of-the-rotation starter as the bigger need, while acknowledging the bat may be fillable within the current lineup depending on injuries and development; the decision may pivot on who can reasonably be acquired and how the rest of the rotation shapes up with Strider and potential call-ups.
Atlanta Braves MAILBAG: Are These Starting Pitchers Enough?
Q: If Schwellenbach comes back with enough time left in the season and looks like his old self, do you agree in a postseason rotation of sale Schwellenbach, Strider, and putting Elder in the bullpen, even if he continues the type of season he's been having?
Yes, I think that would be the rotation, with Elder potentially serving as a long reliever or fourth starter depending on game schedules and the DS/CS format.
