  • FINALLY someone else

Massive 5 stars to whoever finally decided that this show desperately needed another voice. The new host brings such a fresh voice to the postgame shows. Makes listening to the solo episodes with the wannabe GM a little more bearable now.

  • False review info

I saw a review that said there were racial slurs. I have watched for a while and can assure you there aren’t especially because the guy who made it had the name of Celtics 2025 so I don’t think he knows what he is talking about because this podcast is gas!!

  • Can’t please everyone

The fact that there are comments here complaining that Jake is both too positive and too negative should tell you that he does a good job of covering the team. Listen to this everyday. Keep it up!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Atlanta Braves MAILBAG: Can This Braves Team Really Win the World Series?
Q: Do you think this team is winning the World Series?
I'm going to straddle the fence a little because it's May, but I think they are capable of winning the World Series; odds are not great, but the pitching and offense are solid, and with healthy rotations and the right postseason makeup, they could make a strong run.
Atlanta Braves MAILBAG: Major Trade Ideas for Aroldis Chapman and Gunnar Henderson
Q: Arit says, what move would you like to see the Braves make and what players would we target at the deadline?
The top targets would be a proven left-handed reliever like Chapman and a couple of right-handed bats to handle lefties, with Ward and Adel among the favorites; the balance would be aligning immediate impact with controllable assets and depth to sustain long-term success.
Atlanta Braves MAILBAG: Major Trade Ideas for Aroldis Chapman and Gunnar Henderson
Q: Calvin Finner says, Boston calls tell you they will trade you Chapman for Burke Halter and Hayden Harris. What is your answer?
My answer is a no-brainer. Yes, do it quickly before they change their minds, because the Braves would be getting a proven closer in Chapman and should prioritize upgrading at the bullpen over holding on to uncertain prospects.
Atlanta Braves MAILBAG: What To Do With Sean Murphy?
Q: Which prospects might be on the move at the deadline?
The host mentions several candidates with trade potential, highlighting David McCabe, Nacho Alvarez, and Lucas Braun as plausible trade pieces, while noting several pitchers with varying levels of interest and the possibility of a mid-tier reliever haul.
Atlanta Braves MAILBAG: What To Do With Sean Murphy?
Q: First question: what to do with Sean Murphy?
The host acknowledges Murphy's injuries and suggests best-case scenarios that include Murphy returning in the second half and the Braves potentially trading him in the off-season if he looks healthy and productive, while also considering cheaper catching options and backup plans to strengthen depth.
