  • Great pod

I’ve been listening to Jake for a few years now. By far my favorite pod for Braves baseball. Lindsey does a great job on the post-cast as well. Look forward to it after every win.

  • FINALLY someone else

Massive 5 stars to whoever finally decided that this show desperately needed another voice. The new host brings such a fresh voice to the postgame shows. Makes listening to the solo episodes with the wannabe GM a little more bearable now.

  • False review info

I saw a review that said there were racial slurs. I have watched for a while and can assure you there aren’t especially because the guy who made it had the name of Celtics 2025 so I don’t think he knows what he is talking about because this podcast is gas!!

  • Can’t please everyone

The fact that there are comments here complaining that Jake is both too positive and too negative should tell you that he does a good job of covering the team. Listen to this everyday. Keep it up!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Atlanta Braves Mailbag: Is Profit or Championships the Priority?
Q: Given AA's past experiences in Toronto, is hesitation to go all-in due to fear of repeating failures?
The host suggests it's possible past experiences influence current caution, but ultimately emphasizes that in Atlanta AA has shown a pattern of seeking sustainable, year-by-year competitiveness while not eliminating the possibility of a big move if the fit is right.
Atlanta Braves MAILBAG: What If a Trade For a Big Arm Doesn’t Happen?
Q: When should the team consider moving pieces for a starter versus holding prospects?
The host leans toward making a bold move if the rotation or offense clearly falters and the right front-line talent is available, arguing that marginal moves won't move the needle to a World Series contender.
Atlanta Braves MAILBAG: Are the Los Angeles Angels and Kansas City Royals the Best Trade Fits?
Q: What about a trade with the Angels to get Detmers and Adell? What do you think the cost would be?
Detmers would be the centerpiece and Adell would be a significant cost; the packages discussed include multiple years of control for Detmers and a high price for Adell, and the host explains the balance between upside and untouchables when considering these moves.
Atlanta Braves MAILBAG: Could Trading With the New York Mets Work?
Q: What would you give up to get Lindor, and do you think the Mets would trade him to a division rival?
He notes the high cost and long-term commitment of Lindor, suggests the Braves would need multiple top prospects, and expresses skepticism that the Mets would trade Lindor to a division rival without a compelling return.
Atlanta Braves MAILBAG: Could Trading With the New York Mets Work?
Q: Who is untouchable for you in a Lindor deal?
He says he doesn't believe anyone in the system is truly untouchable for the right deal, especially not a player of Lindor's caliber, though the Braves would consider the price and dependencies carefully.
