  • Pay attention to the variables

You were quick to point out Tua’s time to throw and INTs. How about the other aspects of the game? He was EXPECTED to throw that quickly because Miami has always had 30th or worst O line in Miami. His guards were revolving doors. Secondly, McDaniel innovated a timing based passing offense where Tua was expected to throw to spots relying heavily on his WRs to be in the right place at the right time. He lost Tyreek and the nfl adjusted to mcdaniels offense. Stop listening to what espn says and ope... more

  • Ok

I listen to this podcast because simply because I’m a falcons fan and there aren’t a lot of good opinions in this space. Comparitively speaking is it one of the best sports podcast? No. However, the content is realitively good on occasion and it’s better than the alternatives.

  • Great podcast, 1 ad has to go though

Appreciate Aaron’s takes here, I think he takes a realistic approach to this team. Any of the bad reviews you see will be fan boys drinking the Koo laid thinking each of the last 7 years we’re gonna be amazing. While I don’t agree with some of his opinions, I think he does approach this team’s success and failures with a pretty good eye. For the love of the lord though, please never again with the German accent, unless you learn how to say it in actual German.

  • Not real fans

First episode I listen to is them dragging the Falcons and saying we’ll come out of November 6-6. They don’t truly believe how good we are.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

DEADLOCKED: Atlanta Falcons SPLIT Over Who Starts Week 1 | Michael Penix vs. Tua Tagovailoa
Q: Am I just spitballing here or maybe am I on to something?
The hosts discuss a potential pattern where power dynamics and the head coach's role could influence QB1 decisions, suggesting a real possibility of a deadlock if different leaders in the organization favor different quarterbacks.
MAKE OR BREAK: Michael Penix Faces HIGH-STAKES 2026 Under Atlanta Falcons Pressure
Q: What is the best case scenario for Michael Penix in 2026?
The best case is for Penix to deliver a string of strong starts that convinces Atlanta to keep building around him, potentially avoiding a high-draft quarterback scenario and showing clear progression in the middle of the field and overall decision-making.
RESCUE: Za'Darius Smith UN-RETIRES to SAVE Atlanta Falcons Pass Rush | Is It Matthew Judon 2.0?
Q: What are you hoping to see from the Falcons in joint practices against the Colts?
I'm looking for clear signals on offensive line health and performance, the effectiveness of the edge rush rotation, and how quickly the rookies adapt to NFL-level competition.
RESCUE: Za'Darius Smith UN-RETIRES to SAVE Atlanta Falcons Pass Rush | Is It Matthew Judon 2.0?
Q: Trey, when you saw the news Tuesday morning, what were your thoughts? Were you like, finally the Falcons made a move or you were like, eh?
I was intrigued but cautious, recognizing the need for pass rush help while debating how the new setup would fit into the defensive scheme and how it would impact the rest of the roster.
REBOUND: Michael Penix Nears CLEARANCE as Tua Tagovailoa IMPROVES In Atlanta Falcons Joint Practice
Q: What should we expect from Michael Penix once he's fully cleared, and how might that affect the QB3 discussion ahead of the next preseason game?
There's a sense that Penix could push for more reps if cleared, potentially influencing a three-quarterback roster decision; the hosts weigh the risk of rushing Penix versus the potential strategic benefits of having him available for practice and possibly a late preseason game.
