  • Annual Exams

Thank you so much for this podcast. I’m thinking women of child bearing age, living in states that ban abortions, should call their legislators to schedule their annual OBGYN exam, since the politicians seem to know more about women’s reproductive health than actual doctors.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Investigating the Death of Roe With Amy Littlefield
Q: The title is Killers of Roe, and I just want to know, why did you call it that?
Amy Littlefield explains she wanted to flip the script from being labeled murderers to asking what policy promotes killing; the book links the death of a constitutional right to real, preventable deaths caused by abortion bans.
Trad Point USA With Dr. Jennifer Lincoln
Q: How did the Birth Book come about and what makes its structure unique for pregnant people?
Dr. Lincoln explains that the book is designed as a navigable, sectioned guide that lets readers jump to topics that matter to them in real time, ensuring information is accessible during moments of need, such as a hospital visit.
Trad Point USA With Dr. Jennifer Lincoln
Q: Hello. Dr. Jen, how are you?
Dr. Lincoln responds warmly, sharing how grateful she is to be on the show and discussing her work debunking pseudoscience and promoting informed, autonomous birth and abortion care.
Shenanigans at the 5th Circus Court With RaeShandra Lias & Nikki Sapiro Vinckier
Q: Why are these opponents citing off-label use and misrepresenting safety data?
Because the core objective is control and access restriction; the cited data are often taken out of proper clinical context or come from non-peer-reviewed sources to support political aims.
Shenanigans at the 5th Circus Court With RaeShandra Lias & Nikki Sapiro Vinckier
Q: What is the misoprostol-only option and how does it compare to the standard regimen in terms of effectiveness and user experience?
Misoprostol-only is safer to use than nothing, but generally less effective and longer, with potentially more discomfort and more uncertain outcomes, compared to the Mifepristone-misoprostol combination.
