  • Dream team!

Just being in the orbit of Niall and Dain’s friendship is worth the price of admission ($0) but these guys are both weird and wise — the two qualities I prize in a podcast. Highly recommended!

  • It is my sincere belief that we need to normalize talking about sex. Not in a grody or harassment sort of way. Just… acknowledging it exists. That will demystify it and make people comfortable seeking help and advice. It goes without saying that I very much appreciate this podcast for doing just that. Hosts Niall and Dain speak very casually about all things sex and relationships. They cover a wide range of topics from contraception, to foreplay, to dating, and more. Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Looking for Guts
Q: Is there a recommended 'end point' for a relationship if communication continues to fail?
The hosts highlight that if removing a partner leads to a significantly better life, ending the relationship may be the healthier option, and encourage honest evaluation rather than staying due to inertia.
Looking for Guts
Q: What's the best approach if you're worried you're drifting apart after many years together?
They recommend a direct, non-accusatory discussion, possibly starting with a letter or note but delivered at a calm moment, and to avoid pressuring the partner by timing the talk around busy or stressful moments; they also propose writing out thoughts first to organize points.
Looking for Guts
Q: Has anyone been successful in having these conversations and trying to resolve the issues by text?
The hosts suggest that text can be a starting point, but for meaningful, long-form relationship talks, in-person or thoughtfully written messages are better. They emphasize avoiding blame, using prewritten notes as groundwork, and then discussing in real time when both are ready.
Give Your Date a Brick
Q: What about dating for an older man asking how to spark attraction?
The hosts emphasize realistic expectations, self-awareness, and focusing on genuine connection rather than chasing youth or glamorous fantasies. They advise meeting people through appropriate channels, staying social, and considering fit with the person rather than chasing a social stereotype.
Give Your Date a Brick
Q: How should a man try to prove his masculinity on a date without being disrespectful?
They argue against performances or hostility toward service staff; authenticity and kindness tend to work better. The idea is to avoid manipulative or aggressive tactics and not rely on transactional or cruel behavior to seem 'masculine.'
