Just a bunch of mates sitting around a table having fun. Also a great way to get familiar with the mechanics of gurps. A fun show all around!
to my life.
Thanks to you.
Love listening to you guys. You guys all remind me of the games I used to play with my friends. I’m only on episode 16, but do have a suggestion (that you’ve probably fixed already) any chance you guys could turn down the volume of your intro song? It’s a bit jarring when I have my volume up to hear you guys and then that blasts me lol.
Fantasy shorts is a roleplay podcast by some goofy group of rpg-proximity aquaintences. The fest few episodes are a bit shaky on volume-consistency (the intro/outtro might deafen you) but it gets better. Overall it’s a entriguing story with entertaining characters and some darn fine roleplaying.
10/10 would squid again!
Found this while looking for some GURPS real play. Seems like the only one out there. The group does a really good job playing their characters and using the GURPS system well. Would love a Q&A episode farther in as I am building a GURPS fantasy game myself. Keep up the good RP!
P.S. someone needs to make a good picture of Squid. My favorite character so far. Blahck!
Engagingly-played characters in a well-built setting, and also a great way to possibly learn about a new tabletop system! Occasional audio hiccups, but that's to be expected from a beginner podcast, and they've definitely already improved from the first couple episodes. All in all a very fun story, and an even more fun group of players!
I'm by no means new to RPGs, or even pods in the fantasy vein, but I have never heard of the GURP system. It's been really fun to hear a new(to me) system in use. They have a great group with interesting characters, voices (Garth personal fav) and good good chemistry! Excited to hear new eps in the future!
👋🏻👋🏻
The group has a good chemistry, and the DM does a good job of descriptive storytelling.
