Incredible leadership podcast by Ted McElroy. Ted has a great way of putting that mirror right in your face. Thank you Ted for helping me find more freedom from the things that keep me from focusing on the things I love at work.

  • Giving Advice vs Coaching

A very pertinent topic from Dr Ted McElroy if you truly want to be the best of the best practices. Of course the right people in the right seat is important but pulling the best out of them once there is where you and even more importantly your team will really excel and Ted succinctly helps you get there in real talk.

  • Multi layered, multi dimensional

Wow, I just happened to come across this podcast and as I was listening I lost myself in Dr Wolfes words. He has a way about him. His voice is so soothing and pleasing to listen to. His information is deep and keeps me hangin on to the point just before I realize this is a podcast about eye care. Im not an optometrist but now I want to be. Or at least be friends with one. Dr Wolfe has opened my world up to the possibilities of researching deeper into optometry or friendships with providers. I ca... more

Lots of great ad free shows out there for ODs. Way too many ad breaks makes me doubt the sincerity of the show. Pass.

AWP: Capture Rate Reflection: Preparing the Team Before the Patient Arrives
Q: How do you communicate the plan to the whole team?
The schedule and color-coded handoffs are printed as PDFs and emailed every morning, with clear notes about color status and coverage. The team then uses internal pages and scheduled visuals to keep everyone aligned, including a daily recap and ongoing visibility of progress.
AWP: Capture Rate Reflection: Preparing the Team Before the Patient Arrives
Q: Walk us briefly through what those two systems are, and the power behind them.
The two systems organize patient preparation and education so the team can anticipate needs and tailor the handoff from doctor to optical, improving the chance of capturing a sale. The first system uses color-coded face sheets to identify patient history (red/green) and guide the conversation; the second is the daily 'win the day' framework that translates big goals into concrete daily actions and verifiable progress.
The Chris Wolfe Podcast: Enhancing Authenticity in Your Practice w/ Dr. David Kading
Q: What does authentic patient care look like in a technology-driven environment, and how can clinics foster that feeling?
The guests emphasize direct eye contact, intentional in-person conversations, and using technology to support, not replace, genuine human interactions with patients.
