  • Please actually interview your guests

There have been multiple episodes in a row now where there is an incredible guest (Yolanda, Melanie, etc.), and instead of a proper interview, we get Pia regurgitating the same stories about her life and her company relaunch that hasn’t happened. Pia - PLEASE focus on interviewing the guests with thoughtful questions instead of interjecting your experience at every turn. These episodes have gotten unbearable.

  • #1 Pod

Pia! I’ve been listening since the days of Pia’s Pod. So many lovely things have changed and I’m so proud of you and your creative work. HOWEVER, there are too many ads in EITB. That’s all. Would like to hear less ads and longer episodes xo love you otherwise! Ciao

The Aperitivo Without the Alcohol with Melanie Masarin
Q: What were the hardest aspects of running Ghia from a logistical standpoint?
Shipping costs due to the product's heaviness, the distributor model, and the high cost of ingredients make profitability challenging, especially with long lead times and limited distribution options. Yet, the core is keeping the product premium and authentic for the customer.

Q: How do you balance touring, content creation, and family life?
Balancing touring and family is about routines and boundaries, accepting that the work is intense but trying to keep some semblance of normalcy with kids and daily life, often hinging on how much you can be present off the phone.
Kate Berlant on ADHD, Stand-up, and Being Influenced
Q: How did you get into stand-up, and what was your early experience like in New York?
I started doing stand-up when I was very young, at seventeen, in a way that felt like a muscle forming. It became a habit and a central part of my identity, even when it was emotionally intense or daunting.
Longevity, Lasers, and Reinventing Beauty with Lucy Goff
Q: How do you maintain a work-life balance while being a mother?
Lucy emphasizes the need for boundaries and time for oneself in order to be the best version of oneself for others.
